Kollywood buddies Vishal and Arya are friends for a long time and have worked together in 2011 for director Bala's 'Avan Ivan'.
It is known that they both are coming together for an action thriller directed by Anand Shankar, who earlier directed 'Iru Mugan' and 'NOTA'.

Latest we hear that 'Dubsmash' fame Mrinalini Ravi has been roped in to play the romantic interest of Vishal. Mrinalini earlier appeared in Vijay Sethupathi's 'Super Deluxe', Telugu film 'Valmiki' and Sasikumar's upcoming untitled film.

Bankrolled by actor Vishal's own production house Vishal Film Factory, the film was supposed to start this month, which was originally planned to shoot the entire film in Malaysia.

We also hear that Arya will play the antagonist in the film. He will begin shooting for it once he completes director Pa Ranjith's 'Salpetta'.

Meanwhile, Vishal has completed the shoot of his upcoming action thriller film 'Chakra' in Chennai. Directed by Anandan, Regina Cassandra, Shraddha Srinath, and Robo Shankar are playing pivotal characters in Chakra.
