Actor Karthi's upcoming film 'Sulthan' is directed by 'Remo' fame Bakkiyaraj Kannan and it marks the Tamil debut of Rashmika Mandanna. The makers recently wrapped by the shoot and post-production work is going underway.

Produced by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu's Dream Warrior Pictures banner, the film is touted to be a fun-filled action romance entertainer. The makers recently that the much-awaited Sulthan first look poster will be unveiled as a festive treat on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami.

True to their announcement, taking to their Twitter page, Dream Warrior Pictures have now shared the Sulthan first look poster featuring Karthi.

The poster features an intense-looking Karthi brandishing a whip, with an angry crowd behind him.

The team is currently focused on post-production and it was recently revealed that Karthi has began dubbing for his portions.

Sulthan has music by Vivek-Mervin and cinematography by Kaithi-fame Sathyan Sooryan. Apart from Karthi and Rashmika, the film also stars Yogi Babu. The film also includes veteran actor Napoleon playing the role of Karthi's father.

The film is said to be one of the biggest ventures to have been made by the production house and who are planning to package it into a complete entertainer.  Expectations for Sulthan are high as a lot has been said about the film in recent times, with director Bakkiyaraj Kannan focused on making it a top-class entertainer for all ages.

Karthi, who was last seen in Jeethu Joseph’s 'Thambi' alongside Jyothika, also has Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan, and a film each with PS Mithran and Muthiah in the pipeline.
