Soori files FIR against Vishnu Vishal's dad; Vishnu responds

Soori files charges against Vishu Vishal's dad. Vishnu states Soori's accusations against his father is not true and in-fact Soori owes him money

Actor Soori has filed a police complaint on the grounds of fraud againt film financier Anbuvel Rajan and Vishnu Vishal's father Ramesh.

In the complaint, Soori said that the Anbuvel Rajan and Ramesh duped him for an amount of Rs 2.70 crore in a land sale deal. Also, Soori mentioned that he was not paid the renumuration a sum of Rs 40 lakh for acting in a film titled 'Veeran Dheeran Sooran' with Vishnu and Soori, the film got dropped due to various reasons.

Reportedly, Ramesh Kudawla and Anbuvel Rajan had received an amount of Rs 2.70 crore from Soori stating that a land equivalent to the sum will be handed over to him. Soori made several attempts to retrive his money but failed.

Soori and Vishnu Vishal had acted together in seven films, which include 'Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu', 'Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikkaran', and 'Kathanayagan'. While everyone thought that both of them share a good friendship off-screen, this complaint comes as a shocker to many in the industry.

Reacting to the allegations, Vishnu Vishal said it's shocking and painful to read such false allegations and claims that Soori should refund an advance paid to him for film titled 'Kavariman Parambarai' in 2017.The film was supposed to be produced by Vishnu Vishal Studioz but later dropped.

Vishu released a press statement that read: "It is so shocking and painful to read such false allegations against me and my father. Obviously vested interests are working. Infact Mr Suri has to refund Vishnu Vishal Studioz an advance paid to him in 2017 for a film Kavarimaan Parambarai which eventually was dropped. We have complete faith in law and judiciary system. It may not be appropriate to elaborate further at this point in time and we will strictly go by what Law permits. Fans and well wishers are requested to await till the moment of truth, emerges. Also request media to report on this with correct facts. Once things are clear I wil take proper action within the limits of law."

Soori registered his complaint at Adyar police and was then transferred to the Central Crime Branch following which summons have been sent to actor Soori to appear in person on October 29 and register his statement. It is being reported that the other side too maybe summoned to file their statements with regards to this case.
