Vanitha Vijayakumar's third marriage with Peter Paul became a controversial topic after Peter's first wife lodged a complaint against them as Peter didn't give divorce to his first wife and married to Vanitha at a private ceremony during the lockdown this year.

Their marriage was widely one of the widely discussed topic on social media, however, Vanitha remained stern with her decision and the couple recently visited Goa with Vanitha's daughters from her previous marriage.

While rumours making rounds that Vanitha has beaten and chased her husband out of the house due to being alcoholic, Vanitha Vijayakumar took to her YouTube space and opened up about all the issues that she has been facing with Peter Paul.

Vanitha Vijaykumar in her video said: "I married Peter Paul out of love and everything went well. He took care of me and my kids very well. However, due to his bad food habits in the past, his health condition deteriorated. I took care of his medical expenses and sincerely prayed for recovery. Doctors asked him to quit smoking and drinking as it's a huge threat to his life. In the meantime, his elder brother's health condition wasn't good and Peter was upset".

"As a family, we all went to Goa so that Peter would come back to normalcy. However, he consumed alcohol and also smoked cigarettes. Earlier, also he did the same and continuously coughed for three days. I drove the car from Goa to Chennai single-handedly with my kids and Peter. Even before entering the apartment, he has gone somewhere and completely unreachable. Later, a few folks told me that he is approaching producers for money to buy booze. I was devastated and asked him whether he prefers booze and smoke to me and the two kids? His elder brother passed away recently and he visited them in a heavily drunken state. Tried my best to change him but guess I've lost in the battle", added Vanitha.
Social media users are pointing out that while Vanitha was recording her speech on camera a man's voice is heard from behind prompting her to say the words "I will succeed in my life" (in Tamil) at the time of 43.10 to 43.12 in the footage. Other users on the net are speculating that the man whose voice is heard is that of Vanitha's advocate about whom she has also spoken highly of in the same video.
