Losliya Mariyanesan who was a Sri-Lankan newsreader by profession rose to fame after participating in the most popular reality game show Bigg Boss' third season.

Losliya’s father, Mariyanesan has died suddenly and reports say he passed away due to heart attack. Mariyanesan entered Bigg Boss house as a family guest last season and even gave her advice about the relationship with Kavin. Mariyanesan has been working in Canada for last 10 years, his advice to her daughter was widely celebrated by BiggBoss fans and earned lot of respect.

Losliya signed few movies post BiggBoss show. Losliya will make her acting debut with 'Friendship', which also stars cricketer Harbhajan Singh who is debuting as a hero in Tamil cinema. She has also signed a film to be helmed by debutant JM Raja Saravanan, which also stars debutant Poornesh who will play the male lead.
