It was reported couple of week back that Bobby Simha, who has primarily worked in Tamil cinema, and also been part of Telugu and Malayalam films, will be making his Kannada film debut as an antagonist in 'I am Kalki'.

'I am Kalki' is touted to be a crime thriller directed by Chakravarthy Chandrachud with filmmaker-actor Prem playing the lead role.

Meanwhile Bobby Simha has bagged another Kannada movie '777 Charlie' to be directed by debutane Kiranraj K. Rakshit Shetty plays the lead actor in the film '777 Charlie', which is a comedy-drama adventure.

Rakshit made the announcement on his social media page and said that he was quite excited to have him on board. He also shared a picture of Simha sitting on a chair in style. Rakshit wrote, "All smiles and excited as I welcome the stellar @actorsimha to the #777Charlie family on his very special day. Happy Birthday, so immensely happy to have you in our cinematic journey ☺."

Bobby will be seen in a pivotal role of a farm house owner, and  according to the director, he will come in a crticial stage in Rakshit's journey.

Kiranraj, who is excited to have Bobby Simha part of the project says,"I was looking for an actor, who has made his presence in different languages, and Bobby Simha was was perfect fit for the role. Rakhit made it possible. Bobby was thrilled with the narration and his character  and agreed to be part of the film," says Kiranraj.

The team has completed shooting with Bobby, who is said to have participated in a one week schedule that recently took place in Kodaikanal. "I had a certain idea while sketching this character, and Bobby Simha has surpassed my expectation with his performance," says Kiran.

'777 Charlie' also features Raj B Shetty, Sangeetha Sringeri in the cast. Pushkar Films presents the film, G S Gupta and Rakshit Shetty bankrolls the film under the banner of Paramvah Studios. Abhijit Mahesh pens dialogue, Nobin Paul is composing the music and Aravind Kashyap has handled the cinematography.
