Bobby Simha's upcoming film with debutant director Ramanan Purushothama get a title. On the eve of Bobby Simha's birthday, the makers revealed the title with the first look poster and the film has been titled 'Vasantha Mullai'.

Produced by SRT Entertainments and Mudhra's Film Factory, 'Vasantha Mullai' is an action thriller and will be released in Telugu and Kannada as well as 'Vasantha Kokila'.

Actor Dhaush shared the first look poster of the film and wrote, "Happy to share #Simha's Next has been titled as #VasanthaMullai All the very best to the entire team". The first look features the actor standing in the rain and wielding a crossbow, in front of a car, in what looks like a forest.

The makers have completed 80% of shoot with major portions shot in Vagamon and Chennai.

Talking about the film, Director Ramanan said Vasantha Mullai will be an edge-of-the-seat thriller. "The first look being intense and in contrast to the title was a conscious decision. Most of the story happens over one night and it's all about how the leads get through it. We've infused a lot of music in the film, which will give it a different feel. We are in the last leg of shoot and will be wrapping up in another 10 days." he says.

Sivappu Manjal Pachai fame Kashmira Pardeshi plays the female lead in 'Vasantha Mullai' which will have music by Rajesh Murugesan, who is known for projects such as Neram and Premam. Editing will be done by Vivek Harshan and cinematography by Gopi Amarnath.
