Director Magizh Thirumeni who debuted as director in film industry with movie 'Mundinam Paarthene', gave movies like 'Thadayara Thaakka' and 'Maeghamann' and established himself as a successful director in Kollywood.

After the success of his last suspense thriller 'Thadam' featuring Arun Vijay in dual roles, Magizh Thirumeni rose to fame.

Now the director joined hands with actor-politician Udhayanidhi Stalin for a crime action thriller. Udhayanidhi Stalin was impressed by the story of Magizh Thirumeni and locked the director for a film long back. Since Udhayanidhi Stalin was busy with his political works, the film didn't take off early.

Now, the film has started rolling and the official announcement came from Udhayanidhi Stalin from through Twitter page.

Nidhhi Agerwal of Jayam Ravi's 'Bhoomi' and Simbu's 'Eeswaran' is playing the female lead. Sources say that the shooting of the film is reportedly planned to happen in Chennai and the director is planning to complete the shoot by the end of this year.

This untitled movie is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin himself under his 'Red Giant Movies' banner. 'Pisaasu' fame Arrol Corelli will be scoring the music for the film, while the song lyrics are to be penned by Madhan Karky. NB Srikanth has been roped in to take care of editing and Dhill Raj cranks the camera.
