On the day of Dhanush's birthday, Malavika Mohanan expressed her wish to act alongside him in the future. Now her dream has come true. Malavika Mohanan has joined Dhanush’s upcoming film, which is tentatively titled 'D43'.

Dhanush celebrated his 37th birthday on July 28, and many Actors from different film industries wished him. Malavika Mohanan also took to social media and tweeted a wish to Dhanush. “Wishing you a very Happy Birthday and an amazing year ahead @dhanushkraja sir! Super excited to work with you!(hopefully someone will cast us together in a film soon”. she tweeted.

Replying to her wish, Dhanush wrote, “Thank you, looking forward”. This has left fans speculating that Malavika will be seen playing the leading lady in D43.

Now the makers of 'D43' offically confirmed Malavika Mohanan for their upcoming film with Dhanush. D43 is presumed to be a thriller with Dhanush playing the role of a journalist, which is bankrolled by by TG Thyagarajan's Sathya Jyothi Films and has music by GV Prakash.

"Super excited to share my next project in Tamil with you guys! Finally working with an actor I’ve admired for such a long time-@dhanushkraja Sir!", tweeted Malavika and confirmed her presence in the film. Malavika also feels proud to have associated with the legendary production house. "It’s an honour to collaborate with you @SathyaJyothi_Have loved the films you guys have made over the years", she wrote.

The makers shared a poster welcoming the actor on board. Soon, they shared a video in which Malavika said she is thrilled to be sharing screen space with Dhanush, who she has admired for a really long time.

“I am super excited to share with you guys that I am a part of D43, directed by Karthick Naren and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. I have admired Dhanush sir for such a long time, and I am so excited to be finally getting a chance to share the screen. I am really looking forward to shooting the project. I am very excited for you all to be part of this journey,” Malavika said in the video.

Malavika rose to fame with 'Beyond The Clouds' released in 2017. She made her film debut with Malayalam film 'Pattam Pole' released in 2013. She also worked with superstar Rajinikanth in Petta, which released in 2019. At present, Malavika is waiting for the release of Master, which stars Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles.
