After the success of first two parts of horror-comedy thriller 'Aranmanai' series, Sundar C is working on the third film in his 'Aranmanai' franchise with Arya, Raashi Khanna, and Andreah Jeremiah playing the lead roles.

Sundar C filmed major portions of the film early this year in North India but they packed their bags and returned to Chennai due COVID 19 pandemic. The filmmaker also shot several scenes at a real palace in Rajkot.

After Government has permitted producers to conduct shoots, Sundar C has resumed the shoot in the outskirts of Chennai. A majestic palace set was erected by art director Gururaj at a cost of Rs 2 cr in EVP film city, Chennai. Choreographed by Peter Hein, an extensive action sequence shot there.

Reports suggest that the final shooting schedule of 'Aranmanai 3' is going at a brisk pace in Pollachi and it will go on till December 1. A couple of days back, Arya took to his Twitter space and shared his photos while revealing that he is joining the sets of 'Aranmanai 3'.

Sources say that while in the first two parts, Hansika and Trisha played the ghost part, Arya is playing the ghost in the third part. 'Aranmanai 3' will also star Yogi Babu, Bigg Boss-fame Sakshi Agarwal, Vivek, Manobala, and Sampath in key roles.

The film is set to release in 2021 and Sun Pictures is likely to take care of the theatrical release of the film.Sundar’s last release was Vishal and Tamannaah Bhatia starrer 'Action' that vanished without a trace at the box-office.

Actor Arya currently has 'Teddy' waiting for release. The film stars Arya and Sayyeshaa as the lead pair with Shakti Soundar Rajan wielding the megaphone. 'Teddy' is bankrolled by KE Gnanavel Raja under the banner Studio Green. D Imman is composing music for this film. Sakshi Agarwal of Big Boss fame and Director Magizh Thirumeni will be seen in an important role in the film.

Arya also has teamed up with Director Pa Ranjith for a film titled 'Salpetta'. The film will mark the first time collaboration between Arya and Ranjith and the the shooting recently wrapped up.  Recently, it was announced that Arya and Vishal will be joining hands for a film which will be directed by Anand Shankar.
