Nobody can forget the real story of the Vachathi incident the sexual assault and violence meted out against by the upper class people to the underprivileged that happened almost two decades ago.
While the victims of the incident had been fighting for the justice in the court of law a film is being made in Tamil about the film.

"The film depicts the entire incident in an intensely packed emotional script that will make the viewers understand the real trauma of the victims of that incident," says debut director Ravi Thambi. The film's heroine and hero's mother are shown as rape victims in the film.

New faces Rathnaramesh and Dharshana play the lead role in the film that is almost complete and getting ready for release this season.
