We all know that ace director Gautham Menon will be teaming up with Suriya again for the detective story, Thuppariyum Anand.. (Few days earlier It is been reported that the movie to go on floors on March 2013.)
Director Gautham Menon always has the habit of clashing with the top stars in the industry. After Thuppaki, Vijay was supposed to join Gautham Menon for a flick. The film’s first look posters also were revealed but due to some reasons the movie was dropped. Before having plans to join Vijay, Gautham had plans to rope Ajith but that movie was also got dropped due to Gautham’s strict conditions. After this controversy it was Surya to join the list.
Surya is currently busy in the shooting for Singam 2, which is the sequel of Singam. After Singam 2, Surya was supposed to join Gautham Menon for Thuppariyum Anand. Since Surya’s latest release movie Maattrraan didn’t get good response so if Gautham and Surya’s combination joins then it will sure get success. But it was heard that Surya had walked out from Gautham’s film.
According to sources, Gautham had insisted on Suriya reducing his pay scale. The actor had indeed agreed to this but when the director wanted him to allot a one-year call sheet for the project, Suriya began thinking twice. Suriya is looking forward to star in a number of films within a year and he felt that it would not be right for his career to stay put in one project for a year. Therefore, this Gautham’s film has been shelved, we hear.
However we are yet to receive any final confirmation.
