Ilayathalapathy Vijay's AR Murgadoss directed Thuppakki has taken an extraordinary opening at the box-office. It has stormed Tamil Nadu and Kerala and is turning out to be a mega hit.
Thuppakki as per trade sources on its release day, Diwali (Nov 13) has netted an awesome Rs 9.25 Crore approximately from Tamil Nadu theatres. In Kerala the film netted a very impressive Rs 87 lakhs on day one as good as big Malayalam film!
