Doing her 'homework' a day prior to the shoot was a well advised thing to do because she was able to pull off her scenes in one take when shooting in Hyderabad. There was a long, emotional scene with hundreds of junior artistes present, she recalls, and a few lengthy dialogues, which went off smoothly and won her the director's appreciation. And Hari, as is well known, is not easy to please. A tough taskmaster, with a super-quick style as a director, he appreciated her in Singham 2 as well. Hansika who played a schoolgirl in that film got all her shots right in a single take and the director complimented her warmly.
What was it like working with Suriya, and she giggles. "He is a very down-to-earth and supportive co-star. If he is around he makes sure that everyone brings out their best."
