Amala Paul’s decision to get hitched to director Vijay might have just cost her an upcoming Telugu film.

The makers of Vastha Nee Venuka have begun looking out for a replacement for the actress. Apparently, they are livid with the actress for not sharing the details of her wedding in advance.

“The filmmakers learnt about the actress’ wedding from the media and were surprised. The film is a romantic entertainer and they felt that her changed marital status could prove counter-productive for the movie and have decided to go for a replacement.

The filmmakers had planned to shoot at a foreign locale, but have cancelled it after learning the news of Amala’s wedding. They are miffed with her for not revealing details of her wedding at the time of signing the movie, and have also asked her to return the advance,” says a source close to director Ramesh Varma. The film’s shooting schedule has been called off for now.
