Ilayathalapathy Vijay – AR Murugadoss combo Kaththi shooting is almost nearing completion and all set to gear up for the release on Diwali.

The latest news we hear about the film is that Vijay has recently completed the talkie portions for the film and there are only few pending scenes left to be canned.

Also, if sources are to be believed, Selfie Pulla song is expected to filmed in Mumbai and not in London as reported earlier. As the release date is very close by, Murugadoss has planned to shoot the song in Mumbai, says a reliable source.

AR Murugadoss, after he returns from Nellore tomorrow, will fly with the team to Mumbai to shoot for the remaining one song, Selfie Pulla. A massive set worth Rs. 2.5 crores has been erected in the city and the song is expected to be shot in a grand fashion. The team is also looking to wrap up the movie at Mumbai.

Meanwhile, composer Anirudh has also completed the re-recording work for the first half of the movie. AR Murugadoss is also simultaneously supervising the CGI works of the movie.

The team has already started the online promotions for the movie through Eros Now and much more is expected in near future. Kaththi has Vijay and Samantha in the lead roles, wherein Anirudh has composed the music for the film. The songs of Kaththi are already topping the charts and film is all set to release in style on Diwali.
