Action Thriller 'Yennai Arindhaal' Plot revealed, feat. daredevil stunts, tentatively runs for 173 mins
The release of Yennai Arindhaal is approaching, so news about the Ajith starrer is making rounds very often in the media.
Now, the makers are in the process of getting censor certificate for the film. Trade analyst Sreedhar Pillai tweeted, “#YennaiArindhaal Applied online 4 censor today. Producer requested it 2 b censored on Thu-Jan 22”.
While talking about the stunning action sequences in Yennai Arindhaal, the stunt master of the movie Silva said he has previously done the action scenes of Ajith’s hit movies Mankatha, Veeram and now its Yennai Arindhaal. Silva is very proud on working with Ajith continuously; he said it is more like a destiny. The stunt sequences in Mankatha and Veeram got noticed and received raving responses from all corners. Silva has also worked with Gautham Menon in his last four projects. So, Gautham wanted the combo to continue and roped him in for Yennai Arindhaal.
Silva is all praise for Ajith, he said the actor wanted all the stunts to be shot live. Ajith has taken some scary risks while shooting stunt sequences; he broke a real glass pane with bare head, he said.
In an interview, Gautham Menon has told that he might do a sequel of Yennai Arindhaal. First, he shared his inspiring experience of working with Ajith and said his character Satyadev can be extended to make a sequel. He said at the end of the story, one would realize that much more would be done by the character.
Writer and director Vignesh Shivan has penned a song for ‘Yennai Arindhaal’; he said he was much more conscious when he was writing the lyrics as when writing a song for Ajith film, it was also for the millions of his fans. That thought made him aware and very conscious about the lyrics. For that particular song, Vignesh Shivan has started the song on a positive note with the line ‘Ellamae inimae nallathaan nadakkum’ (everything that follows will be good).
Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, Ajith Kumar-starrer Tamil actioner ‘Yennai Arindhaal’ also stars Trisha Krishnan and Anushka Shetty. The movie is slated for January 29 release and is yet to receive censor certificate.
Meantime a UK based movie ticket booking website posted the synopsis of the movie as,
