Ever since the sequel of Enthiran has been announced, there have been lots of rumours and speculations surrounding the film.

From Aamir Khan not playing a baddie to Vikram playing Rajini’s nemesis to Arnold Schwarzenegger being part of Enthiran 2, there have been lots of rumours doing rounds in the internet.

As speculations have been doing rounds with regards to Shankar's heroine for his upcoming project Endhiran 2, here is an interesting development on the film. And now we hear that, Rajini will be seen romancing a new heroine in the film. Earlier there were rumours that Kochadaiyaan heroine Deepika Padukone is likely to do the female lead. After Deepika Padukone denied being approached for Enthiran 2, If the reports are to be believed, The 'I' actress Amy Jackson has been reportedly roped in to pair with Rajinikanth for Endhiran 2.

However, an official announcement on the same is expected to be unveiled soon. As reported earlier, the makers of the film are planning to shoot the entire film in 3D which is expected to kick-start in the first month of 2016.

The team behind superstar Rajinikanth-starrer “Enthiran 2” is reportedly planning to use motion capture technology to shoot some of the important portions of the Tamil film.

“The film will be shot in 3D. It was decided last week that some key scenes will be filmed using motion capture technology and the team has already started prepping. The scenes featuring the technology will be shot at a studio in Hollywood,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS.

Motion capture technology was earlier used in Rajinikanth’s animated film “Kochadaiiyaan”, which was directed by his daughter Soundarya.

To be directed by Shankar, the pre-production work on the project started a few months ago and Lyca International, who recently produced AR Murugadoss-directed Kaththi, will be bankrolling Shankar’s Enthiran 2, and it will have music by AR Rahman. According to the source, Enthiran 3 is also on cards but adds that it’s too early to comment on it.

“The makers are currently in talks with Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger to play the antagonist in the film. Shankar also has plans to make the third part in the franchise,” the source said.

The rest of the cast is in the process of being finalized soon.

Rajini is currently shooting for his 159th film Kabali at breakneck speed. Inspired by the life of a Chennai-based don, the 64-year-old actor plays a gangster in the film, which also features Radhika Apte as his wife.
