Goripalayam is a film produced by Michael Rayappan under the banner Global Infotainment. The shooting of the film is going on in Madurai.

Director Raasu Madhuravan while speaking about this film said,” We shot some scenes during the summer in the river bed of Vaigai. All of a sudden there was heavy downpour of rain. The river was flooded. So I shot some scenes in the real rain.

We shot the scene where few heroes will be chasing the villain Nandha Periasamy. We shot these scenes in crowded scenes. No one knew where Bala Bharani’s camera was. We shot it clandestinely because we wanted the sequence in a pragmatic way. Nanda Periasamy tripped and fell. His leg was severely injured.
