The censor board members had given an A certificate for the film Aayirathil Oruvan. Aayirathil Oruvan is directed by Selvaraghavan and has Karthi, Reema Sen and Andréa in the lead role.
This film is being released for Pongal. The censor board members watched the film recently and awarded A certificate. It seems there was dispute between the producer and the members with regard to the certification.
When asked producer Ravindran regarding this, he said,” There was no dispute. We spoke about certain issues. They appreciated Selvaraghavan and also Karthi, Parthiban and Reema Sen for their acting. Finally we agreed for A certificate. This film is being released worldwide on Pongal day with 600 prints.”
