L Suresh of Ananda Films has been selected as the President of the Film Federation of India.This federation is the head of the whole Indian cinema world.

This has been recognized by the Central Government of India. In the year 1994 A V M Saravanan was holding the post of President. After him now another Tamilian Suresh has been selected for this post. Suresh has been a film distributor from the year 1970.

He has so far distributed more than 700 films. He has financed for more than 100 films and has exported more than 50 films to foreign countries. The first film Oorukku Nooru Per produced by him fetched him the Golden Lotus Award.

Recently he produced and released the Ajith starrer Billa. He is currently the secretary of South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce.
