As of the pre-release blues and the post-release reports aren't bad enough, actor Vijay is said to be gearing himself up to face another unexpected problem on the 'Vettaikkaran' front. Even in the past, his films had to face many objections and cases at the Courts.  This time too, it appears no different.  This has only compounded Vijay's woes, who is said to be not so happy with the response to the film from the public so far.

An organization by name 'Kattabomman Panbattu Kazhagam' has reportedly sent a complaint letter to Kalaignar, seen by man as the patron of the film industry in many ways.  The Kazhagam has reportedly taken strong exception to the naming of a corrupt police office's character in the film 'Vettaikkaran' as Kattabomman.  The naming of the character after the legendary King has done great harm to one of the most celebrated freedom fighters of Tamil Nadu, they have alleged in their complaint.

The Kazhagam has demanded deleting of the sequences in the film in which the character named Kattabomman is said to be indulging in corrupt practices.  The organizers of the Kazhagam have not just rested after petitioning Kalaignar; it is also said that they might seek legal recourse and approach the Courts to solve the issue in case the reply from the chief minister's office is not on the lines of their expectation!
