A car chasing sequence using 100 cars were shot for the film Maasi in Hyderabad. Producer K S Kovai Mani who is producing this film said,” Arjun and me have been friends for more than 30 years.
I have produced Arjun films including Pattikadu Thambi and Paatalli Magan. After a gap of 15 years I am producing Maasi. Kiccha is directing this film. Arjun who is donning the role of an encounter specialist has taken some special training.
A Scorpio car was purchased for Arjun to use this in the film. The car chasing sequence where Arjun chases the villain gang was shot in Hyderabad. This sequence was shot using 7 cameras and 100 cars. The shooting of the film is over.
Only two songs are remaining to be shot. Pradeep Rao who did the villain role in Ghajini is doing the villain role in this film. Mumbai models Archana and Hema are the heroines of this film. The film will be released during the month of February.”
