The shooting of the film Mathi Yosi has been completed and the re-recording work is going on. Nanda Periasamy who is directing this film while speaking to the media said,” This film is about the village youths who roam like vagabonds without any aim in their lives.

At one point an incident takes place which changes their lives. After this the society chases them but they also fight against them. They will keep on changing their minds after taking the decisions. That is why I have titled the film Mathi Yosi. There are three songs in this film.

One song is Bharathiar song and another one is a village song. The third song is a romantic song. Guru Kalyan who is composing the music has emotionally added 7 mini songs in the background score.
