Pongal race is getting hot. The latest entrant to the race is ‘Porkkalam’ by debutant Bandi Saroj Kumar. Saroj is very confident of the film and expect the reaction of the audience to this dark romantic action film to be terrific.

Kishore who played the villain in ‘Polladhavan’ is performing the lead role for the fist time. Kannada babe Smitha is the heroine. Others include Biju Menon, Santhanabharathy, Tinu Anand from Bollywood, Sampath, Ponvannan and Lal amongst others.

Yuvan Shankar Raja is going to be another high point of ‘Porkkalam’.

With Aayirathil Oruvan, Kutty, Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam and Naanayam already confirmed for Pongal the new dark horse of the season would well be ‘Porkkalam’.
