A.R. Rahman's day on BBC
It's A.R. Rahman's day on January 14 when BBC Asian Network dedicates this whole day of programming to the celebrated composer. The channel will honour the success of the legend through various programmes including a big interview show, where the Madras Mozart will discuss his success, his faith, and much more. A.R. Rahman first came to the attention of Western audiences with his film music for Elizabeth: The Golden Age and stage shows Bombay Dreams and The Lord of the Rings. However, it is Slumdog Millionaire composed by him which received international acclaim.
