“Being sexy is also a kind of acting”, is the categorical statement of the hot and happening Namitha, who has earned a name for her oomph factor. Namitha’s statement could have been triggered by the fact that she is widely referred to by many as the ‘next Shakeela’, ever since she had signed up her first Malayalam film a few months ago.

Provoked by the comparison with Shakeela, Namitha retorted that, “I don’t bother about the criticism about me; I feel that looking and acting sexy is also a kind of acting. In fact, my fans expect to see me only in the kind of roles which have scope for exposing.  I’m only doing what I’m expected to do by my fans.  I feel there is nothing wrong in it!” says Namitha.

The tall actress isn’t going on a signing spree in Malayalam and is only accepting offers if the banner is reputed and has big stars as her co-stars.
