A grand function is being organized on February 6th, 2010 to honor the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for allocating land to the deserving film and small screen technicians, actors and producers. The event will be held at the Nehru Indoor Stadium.

Noted Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan will be the chief guest for the function that is being organized by the film fraternity to felicitate the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi for allocating land to those connected with the film and small screen industry.

The highlight of this grand event, which will take place on February 6th, 2010, is the cultural show in which several actors and actresses will participate.

All the associations of the film and small screen industry including the Nadigar Sangam, FEFSI, Producers’ Council have joined together to felicitate the CM. A mega cultural event is also planned on the same day.

Following this, the associations have requested the all the film directors and producers to cancel shootings that are scheduled to take place in locations outside the city.

Veteran actors Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are also expected to grace the occasion.
