Navya Nair belongs to Azhapuzha in Kerala State. She debuted as heroine in the Malayalam film Ishtam. She who had acted in numerous Malayalam films made her debut in Tamil film titled Azhagiya Theeye.

The marriage which was approved by both the parents took place at 12 noon at Chepat near Kayankulam in Kerala State. The rituals took place according to the Kerala traditions. Santhosh Menon tied the knot exact at 12.10 p. m.After this, actors, actresses and politicians greeted the couple and gave them gifts.
Only Cheran from Tamil film industry had attended the marriage. Malayalam actors Suresh Gopi, Dilip, Vineeth and Divya Unni had attended the marriage and greeted the couple.The reception of the marriage took place at 6 p.m. in a hotel at Azhapuzha.
