The story is how they live a single day after their reforming. The film has been titled Katradhu Kalavu in order to concur with the characters of the hero and the heroine. Vijayalakshmi has not done the heroine role by simply acting in the song sequences.

She has been involved in the whole film. This film will expose her acting talents. Krishna has done the stunt scenes taking much risk. The chasing scene was shot in Rameswaram. The shooting took for 4 days for this sequence alone.
