After tasting success in Malai Malai, the Arun Vijay-Venkatesh duo is back with Maanja Velu. The director-actor duo has reportedly wrapped up the shooting of Maanja Velu and has moved on to post production. Maanja Velu is also an action movie. 'Maanja' is the gluey mix of glass powder and other stuff rubbed on the string of a kite. It is used to cut the strings of rival kites, but if handled wrongly, it can cut you. This forms the basic plot. Prabhu, Karthik, Ganja Karuppu, Santhanam and others form the supporting cast. Mani Sharma has scored the music for Maanja Velu, which is expected to release in February.
