Instead of keeping quite after acting, I wanted to show some interest in the film I am acting. I have worked with director Saran and screenplay writer Yugi Sethu. I thank Shivaji Productions for recognizing me as a technician and for giving me this opportunity.
About Asal?
This film has action, romance, sentiments and comedy. The father –son concept is very important in this film. This is the fourth film I am working with Saran. There is a good understanding between us. This has helped in creating this film in a good way. Samira Reddy and Bhavana are the heroines of this film. Prabhu, Suresh and Sampath are also starring in this film. Important scenes were shot in France. These locations will be fresh for Tamil cinema. As far as I am concerned a good film does not need publicity. Asal is one of such films.
Are you doing dual roles in this film?
Yes. Saran was wondering who would be suitable to act in a role equivalent to mine. I told him I will do that role also. Saran was satisfied with my other get up.
What is the highlight of the film?
There are lots of matters. Audience will feel that while they watch the film. I have seen Prashanth, the assistant of Nirav Shah while shooting for Billa. I wanted to introduce him as a cinematographer in this film. When I told this idea to Saran, he agreed. His camera work will be one of the highlights of this film. Bharadwaj’s music is also one of the important factors in this film. I like the song Yengay Yengay very much. The reason is because in my personal and cinema life lots of people have stabbed me in the back. I can feel that pain in this song.
