For the first time Prabhu is acting in a direct Telugu film. While speaking about this he said,”, it is important to me whether I am in the film which is running instead of seeing whether the film is running because of me.

This has been my policy right from the beginning. Now I select my roles and act. I was not supposed to act in Asal. But director Saran made me to act in a small role. I agreed. I am getting lot of offers. I cannot act in all these films.

When I am not able to give my call sheet I will advice that who else would be suitable for the role. I have acted in Malayalam films. But  I have not acted in direct Telugu films. I have agreed to act in two Telugu films.
