More than twenty-five years after he made his debut in Tamil films, 'Ilaiyathilagam' Prabhu, would be making his debut in Telugu films.  Prabhu has confirmed that he would be starring in not one but two Telugu films in the coming months.  Prabhu says that right from the time when he debuted in Tamil in the early eighties till today, his policy had always been that one should never miss out on the opportunity to be part of 'successful' films.

"In my home production 'Asal', I wasn't scheduled to do any role at all; only at the very last moment, director Saran told me that it would be nice if I essayed a very small but significant role which I accepted.  I've been getting many offers but am not committing myself to everything.

"When I'm not able to do a particular role, I used to suggest to the director or producer a particular name asking him to consider that actor instead of me.  My first Telugu film would have Prabhas and Kajal in the lead and the other film would have Ram Charan Teja and Genelia in the lead.  In both the films, my roles are significant," signs off Prabhu.
