Kannada super star died to massive heart attack on 30th Wednesday 2009. Tamil actors Vijayakanth, Sarathkumar, Radhika, Suhasini and others had gone to Bangalore to pay their homage.
He was friendly with all the Tamil actors including Rajnikanth. He was very close friend of Rajnikanth. Vishnuvardhan did the lead role in the Tamil film Malalai Pattalam. After this he acted in the film Azhaigal. He also acted in Vidudhalai which also had Shivaji Ganeshan and Rajnikanth in the lead role.
He also once again acted with Rajnikanth in the film Guru Raghavendra. Rajnikanth who was grieving over his friend’s death said,” Vishnuvardhan is my close friend. I cannot believe that is no more with us. Only two days back I spoke to him over phone.
I cannot forget the days when I was with him. It is still evergreen in my mind. My condolences to the inconsolable family. Due to security reasons I was not able to go to Bangalore to pay my last respects. I really regret this. Shortly I will be meeting his family.”
