‘Kanden Kadhalai’ Kannan is on cloud nine. For the filmmaker has got two reasons to feel happy. The first, becoming father to a girl child, and the second, bagging an offer from a prestigious production house.

According to sources, Kannan’s forthcoming film will be produced by R Raveendran’s Dream Valley Corporation, whose magnum opus ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ will hit the screens this Pongal.

Impressed by Kannan’s first two ventures (‘Jayam Kondaan’ and ‘Kanden Kadhalai’), Raveendran has expressed interest to make a film with him, it is said. Following this, Kannan narrated a story to the producer for which he has given his consent.

“The film would be a romantic entertainer which would cater to all sections of the audience,” sources add. Kannan was working as an associate with Mani Ratnam before marking his debut with ‘Jayam Kondaan’.
