Samuthirakani off to the gym!
It looks like even the most unlikely Kollywood hero has been drawn into the Muscle Mania! Director Samuthirakani, who is currently remaking his super hit Naadodigal in Telugu with Ravi Teja, has become an avid gymmer, on the insistence of his friend and colleague actor-director Sasikumar. Why? Samuthirakani will play an important role in Sasikumar's next directorial venture, and his character requires a good physique! We need to have such films! After the Telugu remake, Samuthirakani will direct the Kannada remake of Naadodigal with Puneeth Rajkumar before starting Sasikumar's project. After that he will make his own movie which will star Sasikumar, once again! 'My friend's friend, is my friend that was the bases of Naadodigal. My next Tamil movie also has a simple one liner Live and let live. Audiences will see Sasikumar in a whole new light,' reveals Samuthirakani. And after this unnamed venture, will he play the lead in Sasikumar's movie to follow? That clearly is the pattern, right?
