Trisha did not quit Aadukalam

Trisha did not quit Aadukalam
Aarya, the Telugu movie that released in 2004 was a runaway success, but its Tamil version Kutty that released for Pongal this year, has received a very lukewarm response from the audience. A rather roundabout love triangle, the movie is a feel-good flick with enough action sequences to woo lovers of commercial cinema. As has been proven time and again, it's most often the hardcore mass masala scripts that work well in Tamil and Telugu, while others seldom strike gold in both industries. But Dhanush is not sulking; he is busy with Aadukalam which is being directed by Vettrimaran. The movie that Dhanush often refers to as his pet project did have some initial hiccups, one being the sudden withdrawal of Trisha from the lead role. Why the actress took off from the movie after several sequences of hers had been shot was unclear. However, Dhanush insists that she did not quit following a dispute, but they willingly let her go once she was offered a Bollywood movie. Dhanush adds that he and the Aadukalam team understood how important the Hindi movie was for her career and hence did not want to stand in the way of her success.
