It was reported earlier in these columns that superstar Rajnikanth was keen to marry off his younger daughter Soundarya.  The superstar became more concerned especially after the talented Soundarya was dragged to the Court by a financier from whom she had reportedly taken a huge sum as loan while producing the film ‘Goa’.

Rajni reportedly restrained his daughter to take it easy and take a break from producing films, now that ‘Goa’ is ready for release.  The grapewine is that Soundarya would soon be tying the nuptial know with her lover of many years.  The lucky guy, who would soon become superstar’s second son-in-law after actor Dhanush, is Ashwin, son of a popular builder in the city.

The marriage plans have already started, it is reliably learnt.  The engagement date has been tentatively fixed on Valentine’s Day i.e. 14th February.  The love-cum-arranged marriage has the wholesome blessings of the bride and the groom’s parents.  When Soundarya brought the to-be-groom and placed him in front of her father, it is said that superstar immediately developed a liking towards Ashwin and agreed for the marriage.
