It appears that there is a lot more to the hot and happening Namithat than her killer-looks and unlimited oomph factors. The tall and well-built actress, who hails from Surat in Gujarat, has made Chennai her home for the past 6-7 years during when she has been giving sleepless nights to millions of Tamil youths with her no-holds-barred exposing in film after film.

Namitha, we hear, loves children very much and likes to spend most of her spare time with them. For the past few years, as one can see, she has celebrated her birthday amid children at an orphanage or a child-care home. Namitha is said to be particularly in love with the 3-year old daughter of her brother. Whenever she’s at home, she never goes away from the child.

The 3-year old child has impressed Namitha so much so that Namitha has told her brother and her family members of her wish to ‘adopt’ the child and bring it up on her own in Chennai. Her brother and family have okayed her idea. If reports are true, the ‘adoption ceremony’ would be held very soon in Namitha’s native town of Surat.

Hats off to Namitha for daring to become probably the first single mother in Kollywood!
