The wait is not over yet! Kollywood buffs will have to wait for a few more weeks to enjoy Arun Vijay's latest flick Maanja Velu. According to latest reports, the film will now grace theatres on May 21. The delay is due to requests from theatres owners who have a long list of films waiting to be screened. After tasting success in Malai Malai, the Arun Vijay-Venkatesh duo is teaming up for the second time.
Maanja Velu is a commercial entertainer with all the required elements. 'Maanja' is the gluey mix of glass powder and other materials pasted on the string of a kite to cut the strings of rival kites. But if handled wrongly, it can cut you. This forms the basic plot.
Prabhu, Karthik, Ganja Karuppu, Santhanam and others form the supporting cast. The racy numbers tuned by Mani Sharma are already runaway hits.
