Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 51st film Kaavalkaran, a remake of Malayalam hit Bodyguard starring Dileep and Nayantara, will reportedly compete with Shankar's magnum opus Endhiran at the box office in August.
Kaavalkaran is directed by Siddique (of Friends fame), who directed the original version. Kaavalkaran has a plot with plenty of comedy and action. The film also brings back Asin to Kollywood after a gap.
