After his mind-boggling performances as Veera and Deva in the Tamil and Hindi versions of ace Mani Ratnam's new extravaganza Raavanan/ Raavan, South Indian superstar Vikram is getting ready to begin his next film Vedi, to be directed by Boopathy Pandian.
In this flick, scheduled to start rolling in July, Vikram dons the role of a cop, while slim beauty Ileana plays his lady love. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music. Tollywood ace comedians Brahmanandam and Kota Srinivasa Rao will play important roles.

Ravi Raja (actor Aadhi's father) will play the antagonist along with Kota Srinivasa Rao. Meanwhile, Vikram has already completed some portions for Selvaraghavan’s untitled next, which is touted to be a psycho-thriller.
