The film Patta Patti had the trailer launch last evening at Four Frames Theatre. Veteran cricketer Krish Srikanth was very much present during the occasion as he mentioned that welcoming celebrities with shawls and bouquets has to be ended. The film's trailer was later released and it was screened 5 times.

Speaking on the occasion, Srikanth advised Sadagoppan Ramesh to be not like the way he was in cricketing. He asked him to focus in films just to keep himself adhered to one perfect task. The film's director Yuvaraj was so overconfident that his gestures during the interviews and media interaction were so peculiar. The film has newcomer Harini in female lead role and around 30 newcomers have been introduced in this film. Debutant Arul Dev, once an associate of Vidhyasagar has scored music.
