Cheran has completed his cop film ‘Yutham Sei’ and is ready for his next. That will be ‘Muran’ to be directed by Rajan Madhav who was an assistant to Mysskin. The film will be launched on September 3 in a very low key according to sources. In fact they say there won't be a function even.

‘Muran’ is the third production venture of Cheran after ‘Azhagai Irukkirai Bayamaai Irukkirathu’ and ‘Aadum Koothu’.'Muran’ has two leading ladies and Cheran has finalised both of them. One is Haripriya who debuted opposite Karan in ‘Kanagavel Kaakka’ and the other one will be Nikitha who rocked singing 'Kodaana Kodi' in 'Saroja'.

The film also has another leading man and Prasanna will be playing that part. The search for the leading lady opposite Prasanna is under way. She has to be an Anglo Indian girl according to the story and hence it is taking some time.
