Gautam Vasudev Menon has registered his production company Photon Kathas in the London Stock Exchange, in a bid to generate funds to make quality films in Tamil cinema. "Because I love movies," he says.
The stylish director of Kollywood, besides wielding the megaphone for 'Nadunisi Naaigal', a thriller, is currently producing three movies- 'Azhagarsamiyin Kudhirai', 'Veppam' and 'Thanga Meengal'.
While 'Azhagarsamiyin Kudhirai' is directed by Suseendiran, whose 'Nan Mahan Alla' has just hit the screens, 'Veppam' is a film by Gautam's former associate Anjana and 'Thanga Meengal' by Ram of 'Katradhu Thamizh' fame.
"All the three films are different from each other. I gathered guts to make such attempts from Shankar and Sasikumar. Because, they are the ones who always support talent and produce meaningful movies," Gautam says.
