It's a double-treat for Karthi as both the versions – 'Paiyya' and 'Aawara' have made it bigger exceeding the expectations. With the vigorous promotions of Cloud Nine Productions, 'Paiyya' left no stones unturned. Much likely, the producers of Studio Green Productions enormously promoted the Telugu version 'Aawara'. The film reached the nook and corners of the state with its intense publicity levels.

Not to forget, the Studio Green-Karthi duo had already made it bigger in Tollywood box office with 'Yuganiki Okkadu' (Telugu dubbing of 'Aayirathil Oruvan).
'Aawara' has now successfully crossed 100 days in many centres of Andhra Pradesh. Buzzes are that producer K.E.Gnanavelraja and Karthi are planning to make a direct Telugu film.
