Director K. Balachander could not be by the side of his pride Kamal Haasan when the legendary actor was felicitated by The Kerala government recently because of some reasons.

But Balachander has sent a passionately written speech to the occasion which reveals how he like his Kamal and how Kamal made him.

In his letter KB Sir begins “I have stopped travelling because my bones protest. I have stopped attending film related functions, s I am not in sync with the content and character of current day cinema and so feel out dated and even out of place”.

He finishes his letter saying "Thank you Kamal for ruling my heart! Thank you God for giving us Kamal”
