Sarath Kumar is doing an action hero role in the film produced by actor Dhilip. After the success of Pazhassi Raja, Sarath Kumar has become busy in Malayalam films.

Sarath Kumar who was acting in Malayalam films like Christian Brothers with Mohanlal and in the film Oridathaoru Postma is now been signed to do the lead role in the film Metro. This film is being produced by Dhilip under the banner Grand Productions.

Vyasan Edavanakad is directing this film. The director while speaking about this film said," Sarath Kumar is donning the role of a police officer. Five new faces are also debuting in this film. This is an action film with a difference."
