Naam Thamizhar Movement founder and film director Seeman is lodged in Vellore prison allegedly for speaking against Indian sovereignty. He was arrested in Chennai while addressing a public meeting to condemn the recurring violence unleashed by the Sri Lankan navy against Indian fishermen.

Although Seeman is in prison he is actively performing his duties as a Kollywood director also. Seeman has been offered many films to direct and act. One among them is a film starring Ilaiya Thalapathi Vijay. The film is titled ‘Pagalavan’ and it will be produced by Kalaipuli Thanu. Close circles say Seeman has already finalised the first half of the script to the satisfaction of his team including Vijay.

Today, producer Kalaipuli Thanu met director Seeman in Vellore jail and discussed the current scenario and sources say Thanu met Seeman to finalise the film deals.
